Actor Yoo Ah-in refuses to attend second session of police questioning
Actor Yoo Ah-in refused to attend his second police investigation session on Thursday "because there were too many reporters" stationed outside the building.
Yoo, who is currently under investigation for allegations of illegal drug use, was scheduled for police questioning by the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency at 10 a.m., on Thursday for the second time.
Yoo reportedly arrived near the Mapo branch of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency in western Seoul before the scheduled time but notified the police that he will not be able to go through with the investigation due to the number of reporters on site and returned home.
Police have notified him of a new date for the investigation.
Yoo had already asked to postpone his first police screening scheduled on March 24, citing that the date was released to the general public by local media. Yoo's first police investigation happened on March 27, where the actor was questioned for almost 12 hours.
Yoo tested positive for tetrahydrocannabinol, the main constituent of marijuana in early February when the police enforced a search and seizure warrant on the actor. More detailed drug screening results given to the police in March showed that the actor also tested positive for propofol.
