Apink's 11th anniversary song to drop Tuesday evening
Girl group Apink's song to celebrate its 11th anniversary will drop Tuesday evening.
It marks the first music from the girl group since member Son Na-eun left earlier this month.
The digital single titled "Only I Need to Know" will be available on music streaming platforms at 6 p.m.
A special performance clip of the group's new single will be posted on Kpop platform 1theK's YouTube channel on Tuesday as well.
Son announced that she will be departing Apink on April 8, about one year after failing to renew her contract with the group's agency IST Entertainment. The rest of the members all re-signed.
Son is currently represented as an actor by YG Entertainment. She most recently appeared in the tvN drama series "Ghost Doctor" which concluded in late February.
Apink debuted in 2011 with the EP “Seven Springs of Apink.” With Son out of the group, Apink now has five members: Park Cho-rong, Yoon Bo-mi, Jeong Eun-ji, Kim Nam-joo and Oh Ha-young. It has hit songs like “My My” (2011), “Mr. Chu” (2014) and “Dumhdurum” (2020).
