Bruno Mars to hold concerts in Seoul on June 17 and 18
Bruno Mars will hold two concerts in Seoul in June, performing for 100,000 fans in the largest-scale concert held by the pop star in Korea yet.
The "Hyundai Card Super Concert 27 Bruno Mars" will be held on June 17 and 18 at 8 p.m. at the Jamsil Olympic Main Stadium, southern Seoul.
This is the first time in nine years for the pop star to perform in Korea, following his previous concert in 2014.
"As a star excellent in not only singing but dance, songwriting, music instruments and performance, Bruno Mars is considered the best artist of our time who is often compared to pop legend Michael Jackson," concert organizer Hyundai Card said in a press release.
Born in 1985 in Hawaii, Bruno Mars debuted with studio album "Doo-Wops & Hooligans" (2010) and rose to instant stardom with hit tracks from the compilation, including "Grenade," "Just the Way You Are," "Talking to the Moon" and "Runaway Baby."
His other hits include "Uptown Funk!" (2014), "24K Magic" (2016), "When I Was Your Man" (2012) and "Young, Wild & Free" (2011).
Tickets will go on sale starting April 27 at noon for Hyundai Card holders and April 28 for everyone else.
Prices range from 77,000 won ($58) to 250,000 won.
