EXO's Kai to release a new album in mid-March
Kai of boy band EXO is planning to release a new album in mid-March, his agency SM Entertainment announced on Tuesday.
The Korea JoongAng Daily confirmed with the agency on Tuesday morning that Kai is currently preparing for his next album set for release in mid-March.
“We hope you look forward [to Kai’s new album],” said SM Entertainment in a short statement.
The upcoming release will be the artist’s third solo album, after “Kai” (2020) and “Peaches” (2021).
Kai debuted as a member of EXO in 2012. The band is famous for hit songs like “Growl” (2013), “Monster” (2016) and “Don’t Mess Up My Tempo” (2018).
Kai recently completed his “Kai Japan Special Live 2023” tour in January, making stops in Nagoya, Osaka and Yokohama.
EXO has also recently announced a fan meet-and-greet, “2023 EXO Fanmeeting – EXO’ Clock” for April 8 and 9 at the KSPO Dome in Songpa District, southern Seoul, which will be Baekhyun’s first activity with the band after he completed his mandatory military service on Feb. 5.
