Golden Child's Bo Min to undergo surgery for facial fracture
Bo Min of boy band Golden Child will undergo surgery after fracturing a bone in his face, according to Woollim Entertainment on Thursday.
“Bo Min was hit in the face by the club of another person during golf practice,” the agency said. “He was immediately treated and [went to a hospital] for a detailed examination.
“Doctors believe it necessary that he undergo surgery due to the facial fracture, so we’re scheduling his treatment,” the agency continued. “After surgery, he will have to rehabilitate so for a while, Bo Min will focus on treatment and the recovery of his health.”
The agency said Bo Min will not be able to participate in the band’s upcoming activities and promised to give an update on when he will return.
The band released the EP “Aura” last month.
Golden Child debuted in 2017 with the EP “Gol-cha!” The band has 10 members — Jang Jun, Dae Yeol, Y, Tag, Seung Min, Jae Hyun, Ji Beom, Dong Hyun, Joo Chan and Bo Min.
