HYBE Labels Japan to begin boy band project show '&Audition - The Howling-' on July 9
HYBE Labels Japan’s global boy band debut project, “&Audition – The Howling-” will begin airing on July 9. The label announced Friday that the audition program that will ultimately pick HYBE Labels Japan’s first boy band.
According to the label, an episode will be released every Saturday for a total of eight episodes. Each episode will run for 30 minutes on Nippon TV. The 60-minute full version of each episode will be released on HYBE Labels’ official YouTube channel and video platform Hulu.
Boy band trainees including K, Nicholas, EJ and Taki, who became familiar faces to the public through Mnet’s K-pop boy band audition show “I-Land” (2020), have already been selected as members.
The four to-be members will be featured in the show along with other contestants, showing off their talents in a documentary format, according to the label.
A separate “cheering program” for the fans to show their support, titled “&Audition,” will also begin airing every Wednesday from July 13. It’s a 30-minute long show and will be on Nippon TV.
