HYO to release first EP 'Deep' on May 16
HYO, also known as Hyoyeon of Girls’ Generation, will release her first EP titled “Deep” on May 16, according to SM Entertainment on Monday.
“Deep” is the singer-turned-DJ’s first extended play and will feature seven electronic tracks in total, including the title track “Deep.”
The EP will also be released as physical copies. Preorders started on Monday online and at offline CD stores.
Hyoyeon has been proving herself as a versatile artist, most recently as a member of K-pop powerhouse SM Entertainment's female supergroup GOT the beat in January. She debuted in 2007 as a member of Girls' Generation, the popular girl group best known for its 2009 megahit "Gee." She is also a member of subunit Girls' Generation-Oh!GG since 2018. She launched her DJ career in 2018 under the alias HYO.
“Deep” will be available from May 16 at 6 p.m. on domestic and international music streaming sites.
