KQ Entertainment’s new ten-member boy band named Xikers
KQ Entertainment’s new boy band will be called Xikers, announced the agency on Friday.
The agency is most famous for boy band Ateez which debuted in 2018.
The name of the boy band, Xikers, is a combination of “x” used to represent the horizontal coordinates and “hikers”, which means the “members of the boy band are finding the coordinates to travel through time and space,” explained the agency.
The exact dates of the band’s official debut have not been revealed yet.
Originally known as the KQ Fellaz 2, the boy band consisting of Minjae, Junmin, Sumin, Jinsik, Hyunwoo, Junghoon, Seeun, Hunter, Yujun and Yechan were first introduced in the SBS program “The Player- K-Pop Quest” (2022), a show revolved around the ten-members receiving training prior to debut. The band also participated in KCON 2022 Japan, performing boy band NCT 127’s 2020 hit “Kick It.”
Xikers will also perform during the Thai leg of KCON 2023 on March 18.
