Kara will hold a fan meet and greet titled “Move Again in Seoul” on April 8, nine years after the girl group’s last fan meet in Korea, announced the agency RBW and DSP Media on Wednesday.

The fan meet and greet is being held in celebration of the group’s fifteenth anniversary since its debut in 2007. Prior to the Korean fan meet, Kara finished its Japanese tour “Move Again” in Osaka, Fukuoka and Tokyo — eight years after its last Japanese fan meet and greet.

Kara’s full-length album of the same name was released on Nov. 29 in celebration of the girl group’s anniversary. The lead track, “When I Move” garnered positive reviews from both the general public and fans of the group. The girl group also took the trophy at the KBS2 weekly music program Music Bank at the end of last year, making it the first and only girl group to rank first place on a music show in the 2000s, 2010s and 2020s.

The group is best known for hits “Pretty Girl” (2008), “Honey” (2008), “Mr.” (2009), “Step” (2011) and “Pandora” (2012). Its megahit “Mr.” was a major contributor to the rise of K-pop and Hallyu, or the Korean wave, in Japan, leading Kara to become the first Korean girl group to host a solo concert at the Tokyo Dome.
