Kyuhyun to sing song for JTBC drama 'Forecasting Love and Weather'
Singer Kyuhyun of boy band Super Junior will sing the soundtrack for JTBC’s romance television series “Forecasting Love and Weather,” his agency SM Entertainment said Friday.
The song he will be singing is called “Promise You” and will drop on Sunday at 6 p.m.
Like its title, the lyrics state a lover's promise to stay with their significant other no matter what. They also give reference to the show, including metaphors related to weather.
Super Junior debuted in 2005 and is best known for songs “Rokuko” (2007), “Sorry, Sorry” (2009) “Mr. Simple” (2011) and “Mamacita” (2014). It currently consists of nine active members: Leeteuk, Heechul, Yesung, Shindong, Eunhyuk, Siwon, Donghae, Ryeowook and Kyuhyun. The band recently released the EP "The Road: Winter for Spring."
Kyuhyun has also had a successful career as a solo artist. In 2014, he released his debut EP “At Gwanghwamun.” In January, he released his fourth EP “Love Story (4 Season Project 季)” with the lead track “Love Story.”
