Lovelyz member Seo Ji-soo tested positive for Covid-19, the girl group’s agency, Woollim Entertainment, announced Wednesday.

The agency said Seo was tested on Monday after coming in contact with a Covid-19 patient. She received the positive test result Tuesday.

The other members of the eight-girl group came into contact with the same patient on Monday, as did related staff, but all tested negative.

“Seo will be halting all of her activities and will be following all instructions provided by the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency,” the agency said. All the others who tested negative will go into self-quarantine for two weeks.

Member Kei, who has been cast in the role Haena in the musical "Midnight Sun," which kicks off Saturday at the Kwanglim Arts Center in southern Seoul, will not be performing due to the quarantine. She has been replaced by Lee Ah-jin until July 4.
