Taeyong from boy band NCT will release his first official solo EP on June 5 titled “Shalala,” his agency SM Entertainment announced on Monday.
The upcoming album will feature seven tracks, including lead track “Shalala,” all written and produced by Taeyong himself.
“Taeyong has been involved in the general production of the album from the planning phase,” explained the agency.
Taeyong, as the lead dancer and lead rapper of the boy band, has worked on multiple tracks released by the boy band, including “Sticker” (2021), “Cherry Bomb” (2017), “The 7th Sense” (2016). His solo works include “Moonlight,” released during the boy band’s concert in 2021, and “Long Flight” (2019) and “Love Theory” (2022) released on SM Station and more.
Pre-orders for the album will begin Monday.
