New KBS drama 'Tell Me Your Wish' to air in August
New KBS drama "Tell Me Your Wish," starring actor Ji Chang-wook and Girls' Generation member Choi Soo-young, will air in August.
"Tell Me Your Wish" revolves around a character named Yoon Kyo-reh who helps make the last dying wishes of patients at an hospice come true.
Ji will portray Yoon, a coming-of-age character who has had a troubled childhood and has been in and out of jail. He arrives at the hospice by chance and finds new will to live a better life. Choi plays an energetic nurse at the hospice named Seo Yeon-ju. Actor Sung Dong-il plays the head of a volunteer group at the hospice named Kang Tae-sik. Rookie actor Won Ji-an, best known for her supporting role in the Netflix series "D.P." (2021), will portray Ha Jun-kyung, a girl who is everything to Ji's character Yoon.
"This drama will encourage people to look back at their lives and ponder the meaning of life and death," said the drama's production team in a statement. "It is a moving drama that also has laughter and wit."
The series is directed by Kim Yong-hwan, who is best known for mystery drama "The Cursed" (2020) and mystery-thriller film "The Cursed: Dead Man’s Prey" (2021). The script is by Jo Ryeong-soo whose works include comedy-drama film "I Can Speak" (2017).
