Covid-19 continues to sweep the K-pop industry, as a number of singers have recently been reported to have tested positive.

Enhypen's Jay, Wanna One ex-member Ong Seong-wu and IZ*ONE ex-member Jo Yu-ri announced through their respective fan community channels that they caught the virus.

On Thursday, Jay's agency Belift Lab said on Weverse that he "found out through a home test kit and underwent a rapid antigen test."

Currently, Jay is exhibiting minor symptoms like a sore throat and light fever, and is quarantining at home away from the other members, who have all tested negative.

"Jay will be unable to partake in upcoming schedules, and we will let you know when he will be able to return," the agency said.

Ong's agency Fantagio said the same day that Ong has "no other symptoms except for a light sore throat." Likewise, he has halted all activities and is quarantining and focusing on recovery.

Jo's agency Wakeone Entertainment said that she had received three jabs of the vaccine and is only showing minor symptoms.

GOT7's Youngjae, Winner's Jinu, and Billlie's Siyoon and Suhyeon also tested positive for Covid-19 earlier this month.
