P Nation boy band TNX to drop debut album on May 17

The first boy band from singer Psy's entertainment agency P Nation will drop its debut album in May.

The announcement was made through the new boy band TNX's official social media account on Tuesday.

According to the post, TNX will drop its debut album on May 17 at 6 p.m.

TNX stands for "The New Six."

TNX is comprised of six winners of the SBS K-pop audition program "LOUD" (2021): Woo Kyung-jun, Choi Tae-hun, Jang Hyun-soo, Cheon Jun-hyeok, Eun Hwi and Oh Sung-jun.

On the program, Psy and JYP Entertainment's executive director and founder Park Jin-young appeared as judges as they selected contestants to be members of their agencies' new boy band.

JYP Entertainment will also be launching its boy band comprised of five "LOUD" members, but the date of the band's debut has not yet been made public.

Psy is a 45-year-old singer, producer and rapper who debuted in 2001 through the song "Bird." He rose to international fame in 2012 with the song "Gangnam Style." The music video for "Gangnam Style" set the record as the first YouTube video to pass one billion views.

Psy founded P Nation in 2018 after he left his previous agency YG Entertainment. It currently represents solo artists Psy, Jessi, HyunA, DAWN, Crush, Heize, Penomeco and Swings.
