Cheon Junhyeok of TNX will not resume his activities with the boy band's new EP this month, said agency P Nation on Monday.

Cheon has participated in the production of "Boyhood," TNX's third and upcoming EP set to drop on Wednesday, but will not participate in TV music show appearances and other official promotional events.

P Nation announced in January that Cheon will halt his activities due to anxiety and poor physical condition. As a result, he was not part of TNX's previous EP "Love Never Dies" released in February, but was scheduled to return with "Boyhood."

"Cheon Junhyeok was in recovery under professional medical care, and was strongly willing to participate in the third EP," a statement from P Nation reads.

"However, we deem that Cheon is not yet ready to go through all of the new EP's promotional events. After ample discussion with Cheon and other TNX members, Cheon will focus on recovery and rest without any official activities."

TNX, also known as The New Six, was formed through the SBS audition show "Loud" in 2021 and officially debuted in May 2022. It consists of members Taehun, Kyungjun, Hyunsoo, Junhyeok, Hwi and Sungjun.

Since P Nation's founder and head is singer PSY, the boy band has been unofficially nicknamed "Psy's boy band."
