Yeo One of boy band Pentagon will star in the web series “There is an Idol in my Living Room" (translated), created to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the King Sejong Institute Foundation, the foundation said Monday.

The King Sejong Institute is a public institution of the Korean language and Korean culture. The foundation aims to promote itself, Korean language and culture through the series that features a K-pop idol as its lead.

The series tells the story of a straight-A student at the King Sejong Institute who by chance starts living with a K-pop idol in the same house. Episodes will feature K-pop songs and tourist attractions in Seoul. Subtitles will be available in 10 languages, including English, French and Spanish.

Yeo Won is the lead vocalist of Pentagon and has starred in numerous television and web series, most recently the KBS series “If You Wish Upon Me” (2022).

The first episode of “There is an Idol in my Living Room” will be uploaded on the foundation’s official YouTube channel King Sejong Institute Foundation on Oct. 30. Episodes will be uploaded every Wednesday and Sunday for a total of 10 episodes until Nov. 30.

A press conference for the series will be streamed on the foundation’s YouTube on Thursday.
