Singer Gummy gave birth to her first child, a daughter, on Thursday morning, her agency C-JeS Entertainment and her husband Cho Jeong-seok’s agency Jam Entertainment confirmed on Thursday.

"We are pleased to announce that both the mother and the baby are in good health," the two agencies said.

“Gummy and Cho are so joyful to meet their newest member of the family and we sincerely thank everyone who wished her well and congratulated her.”

Cho and Gummy got married in October 2018 after dating for five years.
