Singer Kim Sung-kyu to add extra session to upcoming fan meeting
Singer Kim Sung-kyu will add one more session to his upcoming fan meeting.
Kim is scheduled to have a fan meeting to celebrate his 10th anniversary since debut at 6 p.m. on Nov. 11 and 13 at Jamsil Students’ Gymnasium in southern Seoul. Kim, who is the leader of boy band Infinite, has been working solo since 2018.
When tickets for both days sold out in several minutes, Kim’s label DoubleH TNE decided to add one more session, at 1 p.m. on Nov. 13 to “put a smile on many of the disappointed fans,” the label said.
The upcoming fan meeting will be Kim’s first public appearance after suffering a jaw injury. In August, Kim had to undergo a surgery for a jaw fracture and has been taking time to recover.
Tickets for the additional fan meeting opens on Oct. 20 at 8 p.m.
Debuting in 2010 as a member of Infinite, Kim has been working as a solo artist and also as a musical actor. In April, he released his first single “Savior” and was appearing in the Korean production of the musical “Kinky Boots” until he took a break from due to the injury.
