Singer Son Ho-young, a former member of boy band g.o.d, announced Tuesday that he’ll hold a birthday party with his fans on March 26 at Nodeul Live House, a performing arts venue on Nodeul Island in the Han River.

The singer, who turns 42 on March 26, uploaded a poster on his Instagram announcing the birthday fan meet, which will also be streamed online via CaveCon. Last year, he held an online fan meet called “HOI at Home” to celebrate his birthday with his fans.

After the release of digital single “Shy” in March last year, which came after a hiatus of about five years, Son announced that he had renamed himself Shy. Since then, he has held solo concerts titled “Hello? SHY” in Seoul and Busan and communicated actively with his fans.

Son debuted as a member of g.o.d in 1999. The band technically disbanded in 2005 however, the members often say “g.o.d is still an active group” and even held a 15th-anniversary tour concert in 2020.

Son’s party begins at 5 p.m.

Tickets for the event will go on sale through Interpark at 8 p.m. on March 11.
