Taeyang’s single “Vibe” featuring Jimin of boy band BTS surpassed 100 million streams on Spotify on Sunday, Taeyang's agency The Black Label revealed on Monday.

“Vibe” is now Taeyang’s second track that has surpassed 100 million streams on Spotify, after “Eyes, Nose and Lips” (2014), the lead track from his second full-length album, achieved the milestone in June 2022.

The 10 solo tracks released by Taeyang have together surpassed 373 million streams on Spotify as of Monday.

Taeyang debuted as a member of the boy band Big Bang in 2006 and released his first solo album two years later in 2008. “Vibe” is Taeyang’s fifth single, released on Jan. 13, in collaboration with Jimin. It was Taeyang’s first release since his fourth single “Louder” released in 2018.

BTS's Jimin will release his first solo album "Face" on Friday after he pre-released the single “Set Me Free Pt.2” on March 17, which topped iTunes charts in 110 regions days after the release. He will be the fourth member of BTS to release a solo album, following J-Hope, Jin and RM.

Jimin’s past solo releases “Promise” (2018) and “Christmas Love” (2020), originally released via SoundCloud, landed at No. 1 on iTunes charts in multiple countries on March 7 after they were re-released on music streaming and online music distribution sites.
