Wonho of Monsta X to hold last concert before starting military service

Singer Wonho will meet with his fans one last time before starting his mandatory military service.

Wonho’s label Highline Entertainment announced Wednesday that Wonho will hold a concert on Dec. 3, two days before he begins his service. Wonho will be serving the country as a public service worker.

The concert titled “Everyday Christmas” will be held twice at 2 p.m. and at 7 p.m. at Sungshin Women’s University WoonJung Green Campus' Auditorium in central Seoul.

The label also released the poster for Wonho’s upcoming concert. In the poster, Wonho is stretching out his hand in a gesture of invitation. He is wearing a patterned Christmassy scarf.

Tickets will go on sale at 2 p.m. on Nov. 25 through Melon Ticket for fan club members and at 2 p.m. on Nov. 28 for the general public.

Wonho debuted in May 2015 as a member of boy band Monsta X with the EP “Trespass.” The band was formed through Starship Entertainment and Mnet’s music survival show “No.Mercy” (2014-15). In 2020, Wonho signed with Highline Entertainment, a subsidiary of Starship. Since then, he has released EPs “Love Synonym Pt. 1: Right for Me” (2020), “Love Synonym Pt. 2: Right for Us” (2021), “Blue Letter” (2021), “Obsession” (2022) and his latest, “Façade” (2022).
