Actor Kong Hyo-jin, 42, and singer-songwriter Kevin Oh, 32, will tie the knot in New York City on Wednesday, according to Kong's agency Management Soop.

The agency added that the two will have a small, private wedding with only family and close friends in attendance. The exact time and location of the wedding have not been disclosed.

A couple of Kong's celebrity friends departed to America for the wedding.

Actor Uhm Ji-won, who starred as a psychopathic murderer in the recently-concluded mystery thriller series "Little Women," headed to New York City on Sunday from Incheon International Airport. The actor's entertainment agency CJes Entertainment confirmed that she will be attending Kong's wedding.

"We can't reveal her exact schedule for this trip abroad as she will be traveling to different places, but she will be going to the wedding," it told local news outlets.

Actor Jung Ryeo-won also boarded a plane to New York City from London after attending the BFI London Film Festival which began Oct. 5.

Uhm, Jung and Kong have made their friendship public through several reality TV shows over the years, such as MBC's "Home Alone" (2013-) and KBS's "From Today, Harmlessly” (2021, translated).

Kong is currently in the middle of filming tvN's upcoming rom-com series "Ask The Stars" alongside actor Lee Min-ho. She has taken a break from the series for the wedding and will resume shooting after the ceremony is over.

Kong and Oh confirmed they were in a relationship in April.

Kong debuted as an actor in 1999 through the film “Memento Mori 2” and has played lead roles in numerous hit series such as “When the Camellia Blooms” (2019), “It’s Okay, That’s Love” (2014), “The Master’s Sun” (2013) and “Pasta” (2010), as well as films like “Love Fiction” (2012), “Missing” (2016) and “Crazy Romance” (2019).

Oh, who is a Korean-American, is the season seven winner of “Superstar K” (2015). He debuted with his first EP “Stardust” in January 2017. He gained more attention when he appeared on JTBC’s “Superband” in 2019. He came fifth in the competition.
