Additional free tickets for BTS's Gwanghwamun comeback performance to open
Despair not, ARMY — additional standing-zone spots to BTS's free Gwanghwamun comeback performance will open on Thursday evening, bringing the total number of seats to 22,000 for the greatly awaited live stage.
Tickets will open — once again for free and on a first-come, first-served basis — on NOL Ticket at 8 p.m. on Thursday.
The additional spots will occupy the southern part of Sejong-daero, or from Gwanghwamun Station to near City Hall Station, where large-scale LED screens will show a close-up of the main stage.
“With this latest news, 22,000 audience members will be able to enjoy the 'Arirang' comeback live performance,” the band's agency BigHit Music said on Tuesday. “The scale was decided after considering the optimal conditions of the site and audience distribution.”
The agency also warned that it would take firm legal action against ticket scalpers. It is actively monitoring ticket resellers in real time and will fortify the ticket and ID verification process for visitors on the day of the performance.
Details of the verification process will be shared at a later date, according to the agency.
