aespa to begin second world tour with two Seoul concerts in June

Girl group aespa will begin its second world tour, “SYNK : Parallel Line,” in June with two concerts in Seoul.

The quartet will hold concerts on June 29 and 30 in Seoul, followed by performances in 12 other regions in Asia and Australia.

The tour's first overseas concert will take place in Fukuoka on July 6 and 7, followed by performances in Nagoya on July 10 and 11; Saitama on July 14 and 15; Singapore on July 20; Osaka on July 27 and 28; Hong Kong on Aug. 3; Taipei, Taiwan on Aug. 10, Jakarta, Indonesia on Aug. 24; Sydney, Australia on Aug. 31; Melbourne, Australia on Sept. 2; Macau on Sept. 21; and Bangkok, Thailand on Sept. 28 and 29.

“This tour will take place in the parallel universe story that aespa has as its musical backdrop,” the band's agency, SM Entertainment, said in a news release.

“We hope to excite music fans with an upgraded performance and presentation prepared for this tour.”

aespa held its first world tour, “SYNK : Hyper Line,” last year, putting on 31 performances in 21 regions around the world.

The girl group will participate in SM Entertainment's agencywide concert “SMTOWN Live 2024 SMCU Palace @Tokyo,” set to take place on Feb. 21 and 22 at Tokyo Dome.
