Agencies deny that Yoona and Junho are dating
Yoona and Junho’s agencies both denied reports that the two entertainers are in a romantic relationship.
Local media reported Monday that the two co-stars of JTBC rom-com “King the Land” (2023) are in a romantic relationship, just like the characters the actors play.
Both agencies were quick to deny the rumors.
“They are very close friends, but the dating rumors are untrue,” Yoona’s agency, SM Entertainment said Monday.
Junho’s agency JYP Entertainment issued a similar statement.
“While the two actors have a very close relationship, the dating rumors, which we checked, are untrue,” said JYP Entertainment.
Singer and actor Yoona debuted in 2007 in the MBC drama “Two Outs In The Ninth Inning,” and as a singer in the girl group Girls’ Generation. Yoona had leading roles in the dramas “You Are My Destiny” (2008-09) and “The K2” (2016), as well as in the movie “Exit” (2019).
Junho debuted as a member of boy band 2PM in 2008. He kicked off his acting career with the movie “Cold Eyes” in 2013.
JTBC’s ongoing drama “King the Land” revolves around the story of the two actors' characters at a luxury hotel. Yoona plays the hotelier Cheon Sa-rang, and Junho plays Goo Won, heir of the hotel chain.
