American rapper J.I.D to perform in Korea in August
American rapper J.I.D will return to Korea in August to hold his “Forever A Day” tour, announced concert organizer Private Curve on Thursday.
“J.I.D Live in Seoul,” a part of the Asian leg of the rapper’s “Forever A Day” world tour, will be held at the Musinsa Garage in Mapo District, southern Seoul on August 21.
This is the artist’s second performance in Korea after headlining the “House of Vans” music festival in 2019.
All tickets, priced at 88,000 won ($66), will be available to purchase on ticketing platform Yes24 Ticket and WeMakePrice, an e-commerce platform.
J.I.D, whose real name is Destin Route, first appeared in the Atlanta Hiphop scene in 2015 with the EP “DiCaprio” as a member of the Hiphop crew Spillage Village created by Hiphop duo Earthgang. He released his first official album “The Never Story” in 2017, J.I.D’s third full length album released in 2022 landed No. 12 on the Billboard 200 chart.
