B1A4 to celebrate 13th anniversary with two fan concerts in April
Boy band B1A4 will celebrate its 13th anniversary since debut with two fan concerts on April 20 and 21, the band’s agency WM Entertainment said Friday.
Titled “13ANA=DAY,” the concerts will be held at Yonsei University’s concert hall.
It is the band’s first fan event in two years and five months since it last held an online fan meet-and-greet “'B1A4 Online Fanmeeting 'Live Lounge B1A4” in November 2021.
A promotional poster for "13ANA=DAY" was uploaded to the band's social media page on March 7. “13ANA” is a stylization of the band’s fan name BANA, meaning it is the day the band “fell in love” with the fans, WM Entertainment said in a press release Friday. The name riffs off the Korean word for falling in love.
B1A4 debuted in 2011 as a five-member boy band under WM Entertainment. The band is known for "Baby Good Night" (2012), "What's Happening" (2013) and "Solo Day" (2014). Members Jinyoung and Baro left the band and agency in 2018. The band currently consists of the remaining three members: CNU, Gongchan and Sandeul.
The band released its eighth EP “Connect” in January, also as celebration of its thirteenth anniversary.
Presale tickets for the upcoming fan concert will open on Ticketlink starting at 8 p.m. on Monday and regular tickets will be available starting at 8 p.m. on March 22.
