Yujeong of BB Girls has left the four-member girl group, BB Girls Company said Monday.

The group will continue its activities as a trio under its new label, BB Girls Company, which will be managed by its partnership company GLG, another entertainment agency.

BB Girls has recently ended its contract with Warner Music Korea.

“We express our gratitude toward Yujeong, who’s been with BB Girls for so long and always did her best, and we wish her the best,” the label said in a press release.

BB Girls debuted under the name Brave Girls in 2011, but was unable to see commercial success until the 2017 song “Rollin’” belatedly went viral in 2021. The group will continue with members Minyoung, Eunji and Yuna.
