Boy band BoyNextDoor has been named the new honorary ambassador of the mobile network operator LG U+, according to both the agency and the operator on Tuesday.

“BoyNextDoor is keeping busy with its upcoming first full-length album and performances scheduled in Seoul and Busan,” said LG U+ in a press release. “The band’s growth aligns with the development this company aspires to emulate. Its fandom also matches the target demographic for LG U+.”

The network operator plans to launch the online and offline collaboration in time for the band’s upcoming first full-length album, “Home,” scheduled for release on June 8.

LG U+ will center its campaign around the word “door” in BoyNextDoor’s name and use the onomatopoeia “knock knock knock” to tie into the collaboration’s theme of “opening doors in everyday life,” according to the network operator.

Additionally, the network operator is scheduled to release advertisements utilizing the band’s prereleased track, “ddok ddok ddok,” the name of which refers to the Korean-language version of the onomatopoeia, from its upcoming album, according to LG U+.

LG U+ will play BoyNextDoor’s music videos in its offline stores, offer interactive events for its social media campaigns, and provide content focused on the band’s albums on the network’s U+ one mobile application’s entertainment section.

BoyNextDoor debuted in 2023 with the single “Who!” (2023). The sextet, consisting of members Sungho, Riwoo, Jaehyun, Taesan, Leehan and Woonhak, has released songs such as “But I Like You” (2023), “Earth, Wind & Fire” (2024) and “If I Say, I Love You” (2025).
