Boy band CIX to drop new single on Jan. 24
Boy band CIX will drop its first single, “0 or 1," on Jan. 24, its agency, C9 Entertainment, said Thursday.
“0 or 1” will be the band’s first music in eight months since its sixth EP, “’OK’ Episode 2: I’m OK,” was released on May 29.
The band will release an “AI briefing,” wherein the band will use AI technology to present its concepts and messages, for each member until the single’s drop, starting with member BX on Friday.
CIX debuted in 2019 under C9 Entertainment. The band consists of five members: BX, Seunghun, Bae Jin-young, Yonghee and Hyunsuk. The group has released songs such as “Cinema” (2021), “Wave” (2021), “458” (2022), “Without You” (2022) and “Save me, Kill me” (2023).
The band held its second world tour, "Save me, Kill me," in Europe, the United States and Japan during the first half of 2023. It held its first in-person fan meet and greets in Korea on Aug. 19 and Aug. 20, followed by Japanese fan meet and greets in September 2023.
