Boy band Hori7on to hold its first-ever concert in Manila
Boy band Hori7on will host its first concert in Manila in September, according to its agency MLD Entertainment on Tuesday.
Hori7on will perform at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Manila in its concert titled "Friend-SHIP Voyage to Manila."
The concert comes after Hori7on made its debut in Korea in July through its first full-length album "Friend-SHIP" in July. Hori7on was formed through audition program "Dream Maker," launched together by Korean agency MLD Entertainment and Filipino media company ABS-CBN. The program is described as a "collaboration between K-pop and [Pinoy pop]." Both Korean and Filipino fans were able to vote throughout the program.
The lead track "Six7een" from "Friend-SHIP" topped the iTunes albums chart in the Philippines, New Zealand and the United Arab Emirates, then in Spain, Qatar and Poland the following day. Hori7on also appeared on Korean music show "The Show" on SBS M, making it on the list of candidates for that week's The Show Choice.
Formed on Feb. 12 this year, the band has been promoting itself in the Philippines, holding "mall tours" to meet fans.
The group name Hori7on refers to the seven members who started their journey at the same line, aiming for a united goal.
Information about "Friend-SHIP Voyage to Manila" and tickets will be available on Hori7on's official social media.
