BTS music producer Pdogg is in a relationship with weather reporter Kim Ga-young, according to media reports on Tuesday.

The two have been going out on dates publicly and have been introducing each other as their partners to acquaintances, SpoTV News reported on Tuesday.

Pdogg, a producer under the BigHit label, is best known for his longtime work with BTS. He produced and composed many of the band’s hit songs including its debut song “No More Dream” (2013) and “Fire” (2016), “Spring Day” (2017) and “Fake Love” (2018).

He also produced music for individual members of the band, including Jimin’s first EP “Face” (2023) and Suga, or Agust D’s, first full-length album “D-Day” (2023). HYBE artists Enhypen and Huh Yunjin also have music produced by Pdogg.

He has topped Korea’s list for music royalties for the last five years since 2019 and also received the grand prize for the Komca Award by the Korea Music Copyright Association for five years straight.

Kim currently works as the weather forecaster for MBC’s Newsdesk, a role she has filled since April 2021. She also works as a presenter for sports events and radio shows, has appeared on entertainment shows, and has been a regular on SBS’s variety show “Kick a Goal” from its second season in 2022.

Pdogg’s agency BigHit told Yonhap it “cannot confirm [their relationship] as it concerns personal matters.”
