BTS's latest album "Arirang" received a platinum certification from the French record organization on Monday, making the band's fourth release to do so.

The Platinum rating under the Syndicat national de l'édition phonographique (SNEP), known in English as the National Syndicate of Phonographic Publishing, is recognized when an album reaches 100,000 total sales, including physical sales, downloads and streams.

"Arirang" becomes the band's fourth Platinum album under the SNEP, following "Map of the Soul: 7" (2020), "Proof" (2022) and "Love Yourself: Answer" (2018).

"This shows that the album power of BTS became stronger in France, as 'Map of Soul: 7' and 'Proof' both took a year and two months to receive platinum certifications," BigHit Music said in a press release on Tuesday.

"Arirang" was previously certified Gold just six days after its release on March 20.

The band's latest album is also going strong in Japan, as it received a Triple Platinum certification under the Recording Industry Association of Japan. Triple Platinum certification is given to songs with over 750,000 shipments in the country, which the album did in just 11 days.

BTS, after releasing its fifth full-length album in March, is currently on the world tour of the same name.

The tour is scheduled to feature 85 performances in 34 countries across North America, Europe and Asia. Following concerts in Goyang, Gyeonggi, and Tokyo, the band began its North American leg of the tour in Tampa, Florida, on Saturday. BTS is set to perform in multiple stadiums in the United States, on top of stops in Mexico, Spain, Belgium, Britain, Germany, France, Canada and more.
