Chanty of Lapillus will 'indefinitely postpone' group activities due to health issues
Chanty of girl group Lapillus will take an indefinite break from group activities due to health issues.
“Chanty has been diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome,” the singer's agency, MLD Entertainment, said in a news release Friday.
The agency added that while her health has improved through continued monitoring and treatments, “engaging in high-intensity” group activities could lead to a “relapse of her symptoms.”
“While Chanty will remain a member of Lapillus and continue her individual activities, her participation in group activities as a singer will be indefinitely postponed,” the agency said.
Chanty debuted as a member of girl group Lapillus in 2022. The group most recently released its second EP, “Girl's Round Part. 2,” last June.
