DAY6 to hold string of concerts after 'Fourever' album release

Rock band DAY6 will hold three concerts from April 12 to 14 following the release of its new EP “Fourever” on March 18, the band’s agency JYP Entertainment said Tuesday.

The band’s Christmas concert “The Present: You are My Day” held in December last year was the band’s first concert featuring all members in almost four years, after all members finished their military duties in November 2023.

The location for the concerts was not revealed by JYP Entertainment. Further information on the concerts will later be revealed on social media pages, the agency said.

JYP Entertainment announced DAY6’s upcoming EP release on Monday. "Fourever" will be the band’s first album in three years since DAY6 dropped its seventh EP "The Book of Us: Negentropy - Chaos swallowed up in love" in April 2021 before members started their military duties.

The schedule for the band’s promotional activities for the EP uploaded on Monday included music video teasers, album samples and photo releases in March, as well as the three concerts in April.

DAY6 debuted under JYP Entertainment in 2015 as the agency’s first rock band. The band currently consists of four members — guitarist and vocalist Sungjin; bassist, guitarist and vocalist Young K; keyboardist and vocalist Wonpil; and drummer and vocalist Dowoon. It is known for hit songs including “Congratulations” (2015), “You Were Beautiful” (2017), “Time of Our Life” and “Zombie” (2020).
