DKZ subunit Nine to Six to drop single 'Good to You' Wednesday
Nine to Six, a subunit of boy band DKZ, will release its new single "Good to You" on Wednesday.
The band released a teaser video of the lead track "Don't Call Me" on Sunday midnight.
"The song carries the things that the younger workers say at their workplace these days, like 'Stop forcing me to work late,' 'Work never ends' and 'I wanted to go home," the band's agency Dongyo Entertainment said in a press release.
DKZ debuted in April 2019, under the name Dongkiz, with five members — Wondae, Kyoungyoon, Munik, Jaechan and Jonghyeong — and saw a lukewarm response for the first three years of its career.
However, the boy band and its past songs started garnering more attention when member Jaechan started appearing in streaming platform Watcha’s romantic comedy series “Semantic Error" (2022).
The band recently made headlines when member Kyoungyoon came under fire over his parents’ ties with a controversial religious cult known as the Jesus Morning Star (JMS). He is currently taking a break from group activities.
