Dreamcatcher tops iTunes charts in 7 countries with 'VillainS'
Dreamcatcher topped the iTunes Top Album charts in seven countries with the girl group's latest and ninth EP "VillainS" released on Wednesday.
The group sat atop the U.S. iTunes Worldwide Albums chart for the seventh time and reached No. 1 on iTunes Top Albums charts in Germany, Australia, Austria, Malaysia, Norway, Poland, and Portugal.
"VillainS" also ranked in the top 5 on iTunes Top Album charts in 22 regions, including Canada, New Zealand, Singapore and Russia, according to the group's agency Dreamcatcher Company on Friday.
"VillanS" came as the band's first new album six months after its eighth EP "Apocalypse : From us" last May.
Its lead track, "OOTD," has attracted more than 8 million viewers on YouTube.
Dreamcatcher will perform "OOTD" on KBS's Music Bank on Friday.
Dreamcatcher debuted in 2017 as a septet of JiU, SuA, Siyeon, Handong, Yoohyeon, Dami and Gahyeon.
It has released songs like "Chase Me" (2017), "Full Moon" (2018), "Deja Vu" (2019), "Scream" (2020), "Odd Eye" (2021), "Maison" (2022) and "Bon Voyage."
