EXO's Suho to release third solo EP '1 to 3' featuring Red Velvet's Wendy
EXO’s Suho will release his third solo EP, “1 to 3,” on May 31, more than two years after his second EP, “Grey Suit,” dropped in April 2022.
The EP will contain seven tracks, including two lead tracks — “1 to 3” and “Cheese”— the singer’s agency, SM Entertainment, said in a press release Friday. Wendy of girl group Red Velvet will feature in “Cheese.”
A teaser image and schedule for the promotional activities for “1 to 3” was uploaded to EXO’s social media pages at midnight on Thursday.
According to the schedule, the drama soundtrack "Asrai, Closer," sung by the singer for MBN’s romantic comedy period drama series “Missing Crown Prince,” will be released on Saturday. Suho currently stars as the male lead in the series.
Suho has been active as a member of the boy band EXO and in his acting endeavors during his solo music hiatus. He had roles in JTBC’s romantic comedy series “Behind Your Touch” (2023) and in the musical “Mozart!,” and plays a Joseon Dynasty crown prince in MBN’s “Missing Crown Prince,” a spinoff of “Bossam – Steal the Fate” (2021).
Suho debuted as a member of EXO and its subunit EXO-K in 2012, serving as both groups’ leader and main vocalist. He launched his solo career with his first EP, “Self-Portrait” (2020).
He will embark on his first Asian touras a solo artist, titled “Su:Home,” with two concerts in Seoul on May 25 and 26. The singer will also hold performances in Manila, Hong Kong, Taipei, Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur.
