Fantasy Boys' Soul flies to China due to family health concerns
Soul, a member of soon-to-debut Fantasy Boys, flew to China due to his grandparents' health issues, the band's agency Pocketdol Studio said Thursday.
"Soul urgently flew to China to be with his family," the agency said. "He had a lot of affection for his family. He will return to the band in a better state of mind soon."
Fantasy Boys is set to debut on Sept. 21 with its first album "New Tomorrow."
Fantasy Boys was put together with the winning members of channel MBC's audition program of the same title that aired from March to June.
The band will have 11 members: Kim Gyu-rae, Hong Sung-min, Oh Hyeon-tae, Lee Han-bin, Ling Qi, Kang Min-seo, Hikari, Soul, Kim Woo-seok, Hikaru and Kaedan.
Yu Jun-won, the winner of the show, will not be debuting with the group due to disagreements between Yu and the agency.
A special performance will take place on Sept. 21 before the debut showcase.
