Former ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin to seek reinstatement in court on Oct. 11
Min Hee-jin, former CEO of ADOR, will face a court hearing on Oct. 11 regarding her request to be reinstated as CEO.
The Seoul Central District Court will hold a hearing on the injunction lawsuit Min filed against HYBE, according to local media reports on Wednesday.
Min submitted an injunction to the court on Sept. 13, requesting an extraordinary shareholder meeting for ADOR and her reinstatement as CEO, arguing that her dismissal violated the shareholder agreement with HYBE and contradicted a previous court decision prohibiting the exercise of voting rights.
Min's three-year term as CEO of ADOR was set to expire on Nov. 2.
ADOR announced on Sept. 25 that it would hold a shareholder meeting on Oct. 17 to vote on extending Min's position as a board member. However, representatives of the NewJeans producer have criticized this move, suggesting there is no genuine intent behind the meeting.
In a previous ruling on May 30, the court sided with Min, preventing HYBE from using its majority shareholder status to remove her as CEO in a shareholder meeting that was held the following day, May 31.
The hearing for the earlier injunction filed by Min against HYBE was held on May 17.
