Four B.A.P members reunite as Bang&Jung&Yoo&Moon to release EP on Aug. 8

Boy band Bang&Jung&Yoo&Moon [MA ENTERTAINMENT]

Boy band Bang&Jung&Yoo&Moon, formerly known as B.A.P, will release its first EP “Curtain Call” on Aug. 8.

“Curtain Call” is the boy band’s first release since “Ego” (2017), which was released over six years ago as the eighth single of B.A.P.

Lead track “Gone” will show an “even more mature performance and teamwork," the boy band’s agency MA Entertainment said Thursday. The song “Farewell” from the EP, prereleased on July 15, included lyrics of hope and empathy.

Bang&Jung&Yoo&Moon will hold a fan meet and greet titled “The Last Fan-Con ‘Curtain Call’” on Aug. 17 and 18 at KBS Arena in Gangseo District, western Seoul. The boy band will perform previous hits as B.A.P and songs from the new EP.

The band will also hold its Asia tour through Japan, Taiwan and Hong Kong, according to MA Entertainment. The specific dates and locations for the tour were not disclosed as of Thursday afternoon.

Having debuted in 2012, B.A.P disbanded in 2019 when its contract with former agency TS Entertainment ran its course.

Four out of the six members of the boy band — Bang Yong-guk, Jung Dae-hyun, Yoo Young-jae and Moon Jong-up — reunited this June under the management of MA Entertainment, but had to use a new alias due to trademark issues.

Former member Zelo is currently serving in the military. Another former member, Himchan, was charged of sexual assault in January and sentenced to three years in prison and five years of probation the next month.
