Rock band FTIsland’s drummer Choi Min-hwan will cease all activities in light of recent allegations of abusive behavior and infidelity, which led to his divorce from K-pop singer Yulhee.

Choi's agency FNC Entertainment issued a formal apology and announced the immediate suspension of his activities on Friday following Yulhee’s detailed allegations in a YouTube video released on Thursday.

“While it's difficult to provide specifics about private matters, Choi deeply regrets the disappointment he has caused and has decided to temporarily withdraw from all public engagements, including the television program where he appears with his children,” the agency said in its press release.

Choi is a regular on KBS 2TV’s variety show "The Return of Superman," where he documents his daily life as a father.

In a 37-minute video uploaded to her YouTube channel, Yulhee described a series of alleged abusive incidents that occurred during their marriage, including instances of emotional and financial abuse.

She also shared audio recordings from July and August 2022, which allegedly capture Choi discussing prostitution with another man.

The couple tied the knot in 2018 and divorced in December of last year.
