Girl group Le Sserafim's Kim Chae-won will take time off from group activities due to a neck injury.

"[She] visited the doctors to treat her neck pain and was advised to rest for a period of time while monitoring her recovery,” Le Sserafim's agency, Source Music, announced in a post on the fandom platform Weverse on Tuesday.

“In consideration of both the medical advice and her condition, [she] will focus on fully recovering before returning to group activities.”

According to the agency, Kim will not be participating in planned music shows and other events.

"[Le Sserafim's] future schedule will be adjusted based on [Kim's] recovery process,” Source Music added.

Video clips allegedly showing Kim feeling physical discomfort during her recent performances have surfaced on online communities, including X.

A post uploaded to X on Saturday claimed that during a recent performance of “Celebration,” the group's latest release, Kim appeared to find it difficult to move her neck while dancing.

“They finally changed [Celebration's] headbanging choreo, but it looks like [Kim's] neck is still hurting,” the post read.
