Hwang Min-hyun to release digital single 'Lullaby'

Singer Hwang Min-hyun will release his new digital single “Lullaby” on March 13, his agency Pledis Entertainment said Wednesday.

This will be his first music release in over a year since his solo debut EP “Truth or Lie” dropped in February last year.

A promotional poster for the single was uploaded to Hwang’s Weverse and social media page at midnight on Tuesday.

Hwang will first perform “Lullaby” for his fans Hwangdo at his upcoming meet and greet “The Oath of the Peach Garden” held at the Coex Artium from March 8 and March 10, Pledis Entertainment said.

Hwang debuted in 2012 as a member of boy band NU'EST under his current agency Pledis Entertainment. In 2017, he was voted to debut as a member of Wanna One, an 11-member band formed through the second season of Mnet’s audition program “Produce 101” (2017). The band disbanded in 2019.

Hwang released his first solo digital single “Universe” in 2019 and made an official solo debut with his first EP “Truth or Lie” in February 2023.

Hwang made his acting debut in 2013 and most recently took part in the upcoming Tving series “Study Group,” which will air in the latter half of 2024.
