Indie rock band Se So Neon to kick off world tour in Seoul in February
Indie rock band Se So Neon is set to embark on a world tour titled “Se So Neon 2022 Live,” visiting a total of nine cities, according to its agency Magic Strawberry Sound on Thursday.
“This tour, which is being held after two years due to the Covid-19 pandemic, is one that the band and the fans have been waiting for, for a long time,” the agency said. “It’s especially meaningful as the band gets to perform all of their latest songs that they've released since 2020 on stage live for the very first time.”
The tour will kick off in Seoul from Feb. 25 to 27 at Blue Square, Mastercard Hall in Yongsan District, central Seoul. From March 31 over the course of two weeks, the band will visit New York, Washington D.C., Boston, Philadelphia, Chicago, Seattle, Oakland, Los Angeles and Toronto.
Concert tickets for Seoul will be sold through Interpark from 6 p.m. Friday.
The band, which debuted in 2016, currently consists of three members — vocalist and guitarist Hwang So-yoon, bassist Park Hyun-jin and drummer U-su. The band’s latest song is “joke!,” which was released last November.
