"IU Concert: The Golden Hour," a live recording of singer-songwriter and actor IU's 2022 concert, will premiere on Sept. 13, exclusively at CGV theaters.

IU's 2022 concert, "The Golden Hour: Under the Orange Sun," took place twice at southern Seoul's Olympic Main Stadium, Korea's largest sports and music venue, on Sept. 17 and 18 last year, making IU the first female Korean singer to perform at the venue. The concert, which featured IU riding in a hot air balloon, a drone show and fireworks, brought more than 40,000 fans to the arena each day.

The film will last for two hours and 50 minutes. IU's 2022 concert saw the singer performing 25 total tracks spanning across her discography, including "Good Day" (2010), "YOU&I" (2011), "Celebrity" (2021) and more.

"The big screen and surround sound from cinemas will recreate the concert experience from last year," EDAM Entertainment said in a press release Thursday.

IU, having debuted in 2008, is one of Korea's most renowned solo female artists, with her discography popular among people of all ages.

However, she has been focusing on her acting career and has not released any new album since December 2021, only featuring in songs of other artists. She played leading roles in director Hirokazu Kore-eda's 2022 film "Broker" and director Lee Byung-hun's 2023 film "Dream."

IU said she will be returning to the music scene this year.
