IVE performs for 78,000 fans in Japan during world tour
Girl group IVE finished the Japanese leg of its "Show What I Have" world tour, meeting with some 78,000 fans in three cities across the country.
IVE began touring around Japan with two performances in Yokohama on Nov. 15 and 16, followed by concerts in Fukuoka on Jan. 31 and Feb. 1. Two performances were held in Osaka on Feb. 7 and 8, ending the girl group's Japanese concerts.
Some 38,000 concertgoers were present at the Osaka performance, which was held at the Osaka-Jo Hall, according to the band's agency Starship Entertainment.
IVE performed some of its best hits including "Eleven” (2021), “Love Dive” (2022), “After Like” (2022) and “I Am” (2023), receiving "a heated response" from the audience, according to the agency.
"We are so happy to have met and enjoyed the stage with Dive through the world tour," IVE said in a press release. Dive is the name of IVE's fan club.
"We hope to meet you more often. We ask for your support so that we may finish the 'Show What I Have' world tour safely."
IVE made its Japanese debut in October 2022 with single "Eleven" (2022) and topped the Oricon Daily, Oricon Weekly, Billboard Japan Weekly Top Album Sales charts and more with its first Japanese album "Wave" (2023" last year.
The girl group is set to its "Show What I Have" tour in 27 cities in 19 countries around the world. The next performance will take place in Kuala Lumpur on Feb. 17.
