New five-member girl group Geenius released a teaser for its debut single "Voyage" on Tuesday, its agency HOMe said the same day.

The new group is set to debut on Jan. 5 under the newly established agency.

HOMe was founded by its exclusive producing label, sure place, and the executives of Blockberry Creative, the agency that the members were a part of during their time as trainees.

The group will be the first K-pop band to debut in 2024, according to its agency.

“Voyage” captures the excitement of setting out on a secret trip with someone special, the agency said in a press release.

“All five members participated in writing the lyrics,” it added.

The five members — Yeyoung, Sion, Mika, Zoe and Andamiro — were trainees for six years under Blockberry Creative. They signed exclusive contracts with their current agency after their contracts with Blockberry Creative ended.

"We are grateful to see the five members debut after a six-year journey that experienced several debut cancellations,” HOMe said in a press release. “We look forward to showcasing the true talents of the five members we've supported wholeheartedly for years.”
