K-pop idols send messages of support for CSAT students
K-pop artists sent video messages to cheer for high school students taking their CSAT tomorrow.
The College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT), commonly known by its Korean abbreviation suneung, is Korea’s standardized high school test. This year’s CSAT will be held on Thursday all across the nation.
“Don’t be intimidated by anyone, focus on yourself and I hope you do well so you can be back with no regrets,” singer-songwriter IU said in a video uploaded in support of CSAT on Wednesday.
“I say every year: It will be super-good if you manage to get good results out of it, but don’t reproach yourself or think you are done just because you were not able to show your real skills at the test. You will always have more opportunities [in the future],” she said.
Many other different K-pop bands also sent messages of support, in the form of video and text, including NewJeans, Tomorrow X Together, IVE, Seventeen, Le Sserafim and Weeekly.
“Everyone who is taking the test tomorrow must be nervous, but I hope everyone can maintain their health and do well on the test,” Zoa from Weeekly, who will also take the CSAT tomorrow, said in a video.
“We will send you a sandwich with our telepathy, to support all Bunnies who are taking the CSAT,” NewJeans said in a video released Tuesday.
“The weather’s been cold lately, so please wear thick clothes, and I hope you take care of your health until the last moment,” Tomorrow X Together said.
"I know you've worked hard [...] we wish you all the best in CSAT," Seventeen said.
